F.M. AIR recognizes the
needs of disabled persons to use the F.M. AIR Web Site and designs web
pages to be usable. F.M. AIR strives to create and maintain web pages
and services that meet the guidelines set forth by the
World Wide
Web Consortium (W3C) Accessibility Initiative (WAI) as well as
the
Act
of 1998, Section 508.
We have adopted the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C)
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 as our standard of accessibility, and
all pages on this site should comply with these guidelines. The site is
accessible to screen readers, PDA's, moble phones and PC's. It has been tested
against the following browsers (and versions): Internet Explorer (5.5,6.0,7.0)
Firefox (2.0) and Opera (9.2).
Web standards
We have also built the site to comply with web standards, in particular
XHTML 1.0 Transitional and
CSS 2.0.
We've done this in order to separate the content from its presentation, making the site work on as wide a variety of browsers and platforms as possible.
